My view is Piquet will be just as challenging as Hamilton. Piquet also has the advantage that it might be his Rookie year but dont forget he has been their test driver for a year, so he is use to the car and to the team. Unlike Hamilton who was coming out of GP2 to F1.
I think Piquet will give Alsono a big run for this money. But that Renault - I doubt will win races.

Hamilton, did get many thousands of testing miles pre season, although to be fair, there were several tracks he had never driven before, so Piquet does have a good opportunity....but will Flav let him have it? any man who will dump Kovalainen,surely a future great, will want control over his driver....
I am pretty sure that Alonso now has number 1 written in his contract.
