Tuvok....a friend

One of the joys of being an adult, is having to do adult things, and make decisions you hate, but you know are right.
Tuvok my lovely male shepherd was past his best, but he never stopped talking from the first day we got him, and up to the last minute had something to say, for the last 8 months he has woken me with a comment between 3 and 4 am, for a little while I think I will miss this. He was big, strong, lovely and loyal. His tail lost it's wag, and his legs would'nt obey in the end, but I will allways remember him for following me up the "calf" rock on Ilkley moor, and then I had to get us both down, laugh out loud...
We were lucky to have had him share our lives, luckier still that we had the choice to let him go with dignity, it was a privilege, and a joy to know you Tuvok, you can play with Sasha again now.

Buckmore....

They have new Karts at Buckmore! specifically Sodikarts, with a Honda 390cc tuned to around 15 ponies, everything is adjustable which means giants like me can drive them with ease, if not skill.
A slickegos team, along with 26 others, lined up for the first enduro, I can,t tell you enough what a pleasure it was to drive something around the'park that was so stable, consistent in all areas, and while not as gutless as the previous wrecks they had, they were gutless. However, we won, with the peril setting a 49.6 in the process, speedy, and I were in the 50.20's. Because of the stability our strategy worked, and we managed to complete the 3 hours with 3 stops.
They had a snapper for the evening, and a Pic of the Peril leading the pack should be on the B'more website.....The bad news? these Karts have 2 settings, pro, and 'sport', our Kart, and at least 2 others were on the wrong setting, it was a Pro event, so they allowed us the win, but scrubbed the times...not our fault, but there's allways something at Buckmore!!
Now we have to do it all again in the six hour.....

Ramblin'

Lewis won...the nail-biting way....now comes the real challenge, winning more c'ships..mmm..we'll see. Not posted for a while...last bash at Buckmore was on a day that never saw temperatures above 0degrees, we would have had 6th, if not for a moment of red mist by me, which dropped us to 8th.....had better luck at the PPIK xmas race, although the entertainment called 'Back to the Future' screamed 8o's music at us wearing a pair of black panties, and a bustierre, all whilst 7 months preggas will stick in my mind forever!!!.....finished 19 secs behind the winners...2nd jan went to Elvington on a track day with Spit, and Two Fists, in the MX5, spit has really got it sorted the mazda was showing a clean pair of heels to a lot of very expensive machinery, in spit's hands  anyway, temp never got above zero, but the sun was shining. I got behind the wheel and managed to spin it 3 times, spit got a black flag for ignoring yellows, nothing new there, then...later he got the marshall to black flag me just to even it up!!!... had a few good races since then...started 17th a couple of weeks ago, got my team into a comfortable 2nd, only to watch Andreas drop us all the way back down to 17th...I went home for my tea...Autosport show was cool, won a track day...need a car...Nonda won't be playing for a while, I had hoped they would have all seen sense at least 6 months ago, and curbed the spending, now they have to, and Williams is just hanging on,.... this economic problem is created by people with no experience, being supervised by people with lots of experience, who should have known better!! how the Fuck can banks get to be so stupid.....
But now they are showing the new F1 cars...almost skeletal in comparison to previous years
