Hi, and welcome to two diving buddies, from the states, we met on Sipadan several years ago , and we`ve stayed in touch, it`s allways good to see you guys, looking forward to our meal, and swapping dive stories!! I will post this before we meet, and tell them about it when we see each other.

Went Karting last night, And the powers that be, decided, without a by your leave, shut the bloody road off!"!!!, and nobody could find the keys to the alternative gate, help!! Speedy needed his Pizza., I was cool of course, but we were trapped, IN A SOUTH LEEDS WAREHOUSE!!!!! , and no women in sight, but the bar was full of beer, and then some clever bastard found a security guard with a key to the gate, What?

Total Spa 24hr Update

We are into the final hour of the Total 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Instead of a Vitaphone victory it is now Carsport Holland with the advantage.

15:01- Van de Poele apologises to the team for his mistake. A win has gone up in smoke.


15:08- Carsport Holland has been given a warning for not having their lights on. They are on in some corners and off in some other corners. What will happen...


15:10- Pier Guidi has lapped the Luc Alphand Aventures Corvette again, but in these treacherous conditions every simple overtaking manoeuvre might end up in tears.


15:11- In the Vitaphone pit box Eric van de Poele can not believe he has thrown it all away. All he can hope for is a miracle and a super drive by team mate Pedro Lamy.

15:13- Fässler still has a lap and almost 50 seconds advantage over Lamy. Lamy is pushing hard though.

15:16- The Carsport Holland Corvette has entered the pit lane!


15:17- Pedro Lamy has passed the pitlane...he is back on the lead lap.


15:18- After a short check of the rear lights the Carsport Holland team sent Fässler back out.

DTM Zandvoort - Audi Shoots its-self in Foot!

Sunday 29Th was a good day for all DTM fans watching on Motors TV and across the world. That is till Audi did a bit of Team interference and reminded of the Formula 1 race at Austria's Ostereich Ring in 2001.

The end of the race was in sight for leader Alexandre Premat, who had passed Martin Tomczyk and started to pull clear and behind in 3rd was Timo Scheider with Mattias Ekstrom in 4th.

Then on the pit sraight, coming out of the last corner, of the last lap, Premat slowed to allow Tomczyk into first and behind them Scheider slowed to allow Ekstrom into 3rd.

The look on the faces of Premats Pit crew was a look of disgust and anger as the threw their helmets and gloves on the ground and walked off to the back of the garage.

On the other Dr Wolfgang-Ulrich ( Head Of Audi M.Sport ) couldnt be happier now he had finally beaten mercedes with his cars weighing 25kg less than that of Mercedes.

It has been said before now that an old 2006 car wouldnt be allowed to beat a new 2007 car because it looks bad in a commercial sense.

But what looks better in a commercial wise?: Depriving a driver of a clear, hard fought win or Audi having a 2007 car win?

For the second race in a row the Mercedes qulified outside the top 5, with the Mugello winner, Hakkinen, qualified in 14th ( one place better than Mugello ) and champon schneider in 15th.

by the end Hakkinen had made his way to 6th which proved the point that he still has the fire to race!

Spa 24 Hours

In a surprisingly late fast lap Mike Hezemans grabbed the pole position for tomorrow’s Total 24 Hours of Spa. Five minutes before the end of the third qualifying session the Carsport Holland driver set a time of 2:14.554. Hezemans improved last night’s provisional pole time by 0.381 seconds.

A totally rain- free event, so a dry pair of races, no prizes here as the guys(and one gal) is within a second of each other, and the karts have only minor differences, the prima donnas, remain prima donnas, and the conviction that this is a world changing series remains constant!!! Our guys had great fun, and speedichick set some fast laps so we were cool, there were quite a few clashes, and action with karts everywhere!! It was dry???? The roadtrip both ways was fun, and we have a true apreciation of each others falsetto singing voices, do`nt think speedy was too impressed! James Toseland did the business yesterday, good man!!

Black flags

Having dragged the reluctant kart into the lead in the first stint of the PPIK 2hr enduro, from 14th, on the grid, Speedichick took over, and gained a one lap advantage, which the yellow peril, converted into two laps by the end of the race, although to be fair, the competition were held back by a lack of practice!! We had 2 black flags, and I definitely deserved mine!! This picture is of the winning team, limbering up!!!

Achilles Rant

Wossi fell off!!!!, one week a masterclass, the next, a lesson in how not to overtake! Shows what a difference the high temperature can make to even the best. What about Hayden, and Edwards, from the back of the grid, how cool is that. I`m pleased for Hayden, Imet him by the pool in the Pan Pacific, in Malaysia, before he became champion, nice guy, and a real tryer. Hond a have admitted, the machinery was not up to the job, and at least we know that Haydens raw talent is still there, cool.

Achilles Rant

It`s another Moto Gp, with Wossi poised to give yet another masterclass, Stallion will have chewed his nails to the quick, in anticipation................Well we want him to FALLOFF!!!!!......... let someone else win for a change. This guys talent is incredible, in the last decade, we have seen two men, one on two wheels, one on four, who have shown extreme genius in the use of the internal combustion engine, allied to chassis, and wheels, everyone else has shown immense talent, but when you want a blue chip performance, look to Schumacher, or Rossi! the next decade may see another pair in the likes of Stoner, and Hamilton, I hope not or the most expensive performance processions will continue, and whilst not boring, NOT exciting either!
Anyone who watches the guys perform in GP2, or the Superbikes, usually gets enthralling RACING, its only in the top class with access to the `performance toys' when the only thing that counts is the money, that you get less Racing(dirty word here) for every dollar spent. Chris Vermulen is an expert in this field, he used to race in the top superbike class, on a tiny budget with almost stock machinery, and BEATTHEFRONT!! enough!!

Moto GP, and Stallion

Hey, to all the Rossi, or should I say `wossi', fans, Stallion will be chewing his nails to the quick, as his favourite hero hops into the saddle for yet another wupping by the STONER wunderkind, although, I ask myself, is it Stoners skill, or is `wossi' getting old! Helluva thing to reach your mid-twenties, and staring retirement in the face. Schumacher was certainly still able, but snotkind, Raikkonnen forced that issue, so sorry Mike, you gottago!! Stallion, who loves Ferrari, as he`s part eyetalian, (blonde hair?) sobbed when they did`nt choose `wossi' for the drive, but hey, GETOVERIT! As Ferrari bankrupt themselves, and Italy in the pursuit of motor racing perfection, in a procession, will the yamaha/fiat team do the same helping the ageing `wossi' to achieve yet another second place in the championship, as he makes more, and more mistakes, notice he is not `very `appy' anymore!!

Speedy, is currently serving her majesty, she`s very pleased, and when he is allowed back into the real world, we taxpayers will be extremely gratefull! he gets all his meals, a good bed, and some silly bastard, has given him a rifle! HE can`t read a road sign at 10 paces, but he`s a good man, and can drive a kart so fast he can dodge his own bullet!
