The Fan

Post etiquette

This dialogue is great, keep it up !!!, However, lets have it in english for the non-text audience amongst us, yes???
Monty, I see is stirring the pot, which is poor grace after getting his slice of cake, and eating it!
Just a thought, was it not a signed, and contracted Ferrari man who stepped over the line in the first place? Have the punishments handed out, this year, been more draconian than before? Don`t forget when a sport becomes popular because of its off-track dramas, rather than the sport, who loses most??? me, the fan!!!!!!!!

How can he say it??!!

"In the end sport's justice prevailed." mr montezemolo

I dont understand how the owner of a team such as ferrari can even contemplate saying such a thing like this when his team was 100% involved in the spy scandal. And when his team is constantly battering the FIA with complaints about Mclaren.

Mclaren has been like a boat trying to sail through solid ice to win the fight for the championship. Theyve had un-relenting media preasure, FIA bombardments, Ferrari, the (spanish self-indulgent twat) alonso, the loss of the certain manufacturers title, the fight to gain sponsorship and the struggle to keep its identity intact.

Mclaren is run not just as a Motorracing outfit but also as a buissness that needs to uphold a reputation as being one of the well run and established bussnesses in the world.

This was a post to display my utter anger and frustration of this last F1 season

PPIK

It`s official, the new Karts are in use at Ppik, it`s early days so we can`t expect too much, however, I`m hoping to have a practice sometime this week. Anyone up for joining me give me a call. A day or two will be required to shake them down, but for a while at least they will perform equally, a good opportunity to see where we`re at in terms of lap times............
Saturday night, last, I ran with an iron man, had what was the best kart in a while............best lap, 41.3, a full second faster than thursday night!! well done to John the manager for working on the tuning!! yea baby!!

I think we all know what im going to say here , so im not even going to bother , i am just going to leave you with these words ;

CHAMPIONE CHAMPIONE OLE OLE OLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roll on next year.

Motorsport

The F1 season is about to end, no doubt, in an acrimonious way, which will generate more publicity, and draw even more sponsorship `cos even bad news generates money!!! It would appear that even at the last minute attempts are being made to put spanners in Mclarens collective works, how many spurious regulations are they going to drag up before the start of the race, is someone going to steal Alonso`s lollipop, or Kimi`s favourite `ignorant' tune, causing them to cry `foul' as they fail to live up to the their expectations??????
It would be great , if, historically, Ferrari were whiter than white, but they`re not, never have been, never will be, it was Englishmen, not Italians who moulded what was a dysfunctional team, with a plutocrat at it`s head, into the uber team you see now, but several of the key Englishmen have moved on, and now Ferrari, have dropped back into the dirty air, ironically with the help of Englishmen, and this will not go away. Next season , despite what happens today, will begin with the endless discussions, on `being gifted the championship' or` back stabbin` Alonso'...................who no doubt will be in the arms of Don papa Flavio, bottom lip on the floor, everytime his teamate pisses on his chips!!! the acrimony will continue, all next season. Some of the swords drawn this season will be sharpened, people who were cordial before will be bitchin`, the name calling will be loud, long...... I`m thinking of Mosley, Stuart, Montelezumo, all people who feel their words are more valid..........................enough! I depress myself, thank god for moto gp, world superbikes, and obvious prima donnas like, Biaggi, Bayliss, Rossi, all soon to retire, alas, for these guys at least have a little character.............. Bernie Ecclestone will, if it were possible, have reaped even greater rewards, both financially, and publically, for what has become his life`s work, P T Barnum, was from the 19th century, and he was an uber showman, Bernie is the 21st century equivalent!!!!!

Formula 1 !!!

The whole of the formula 1 season comes down to 1 race. The Brazilian grand prix at Interlagos. The title can be won by 1 of 3 drivers, Kimi, Alonso and the favourite Lewis Hamilton. Kimi has nothing to loose so we can presume he’s going to go hell for leather for the win. However Hamilton and Alonso can both win without divine intervention as a necessity for the victory of the world championship. All we can hope is that it’s an interesting race and not a procession from pole position to the finish line.

Which one of these men will become world champion?

(If all goes well it could be Kimi.)

Sunday 100@PFI

A beautiful autumn day, a willing trio of racers, the yellow peril, speedichick, supported by the captain, a decent kart, and some stiff competition! The recipe was hot, with strong ingredients, spiced up by a dry track, and pole position. The lead see-sawed between the top three teams, we had the largest team, but coupled to an inspired strategy, we regained first toward the end, and at the chequered flag we had it by 11 seconds. A good effort by the slickegos, and well done team!!!

New Karts at PPIK

Guys the new karts have arrived!!! We are all familiar with the Buckmore sodi kart layout, well Pole has opted for the same, sad to say, with a weedier engine, 200cc Honda with an undetermined amount of horses! Astonishment!!! A Kart I, can fit without huge inserts, obviously the designer, is a man who apreciates, that compact means quality!! Pics to follow.

Shanghai, and Toseland

Another great (read wet) race in the F1 championship, The Farce which is the constructors championship, behind us, (If Ferrari actually call this a win for them it beggars belief) it gets down to the racers, and just as the most astonishing rookie(a horrible americanism) in the history of F1, is poised to take the championship, Mclaren the team, FxxxK it up for him, bigstyle!!!!! Hamilton will probably in the course of events will see it as a bit of bad luck, but to motor racing fans, it only increases the anticipation for the next event, as we get a three way battle, surely these guys will RACE , for the title, perhaps overcoming the logical way of racing F1 cars, and trying something wild, and entertaining!!!! (personally, it would be much more fun if Hamilton fails this year, and attacks next year with increased vigour, bring it on!!!)

Toseland you drive me crazy!!!!! Again you have pole, 1st race again you get tagged, Why did you have to make it so agonising..............Thanks, great to watch.
2nd race, yes, you did`nt have to win, just keep out of trouble, finish in the top 10, which, thankfully you did, well done to James, 2nd World Superbike Championship to his career, I love races like these, where the commentators lose it, and the tension is really high!!!!!!!!

Andy Priaulx.......... Bad luck has certainly singled him out.......... no points at Monza....... Yvan Muller tied on points.............. Macau......... the crazy circuit......... who has the least success ballast??? Rear wheel, front wheel drive...........petrol...... Deisel..............Showdown.

One of the great races of the world, The Bathurst was run this weekend, a fantastic road race, between gas guzzlin` V8`s, if you`ve never seen it...........watch the re-runs this winter!!!!
Yea Baby!!!

Fuji, and Toseland

What a fun race the GP was from Fuji full of incident, and bravery(some would call it foolhardy, fxxk`em) Alonso making mistakes he can ill afford................, Heiki making Kimi work for it.............., Vettel upsetting the Aussie....................... the director must have had a dislocated neck trying to figure it out!! this is what racing could be like if they binned most of the aero, and we`d all be sat there with `did you see.......' or `look at that..... ' Come on Mosely make them have it!!!!!
Toseland is so Frustrating.............. Falls off during his pole lap, falls off in race 2, still manages to grab some points for 11th, 4th in race 1, what a guy!! If this guy does`nt win this championship I will be so pissed, i`m sure he will, but there are days.........................When he gets to motogp, next year, I am really hoping that he gets a good bike, a good team, with a good budget, but most of all, I hope he does better than the Aussie, Bayliss!!!!!!!!

Bit of Buckmore

Due to the tardiness of Speedy gaining an internet connection we have few photos of the racing at Buckmore Park, so the message there is everybody bring a camera!! My own camera hardly saw the light of day, so apologies for that. We are officially in the wet season, and the outdoor racing will be full of fun, as we slither around the track at PFI, but what would it be like on the bottom bend at Buckmore?????or the approach!!! If we can raise enough interest to have a go at the six hour races, I heard the race director say that rain is allways a possibility at Buckmore, so bring it on!!
The dates at Pfi to take note of are; 14th Oct, Sun 100, one team booked, allways a possibility of dropouts if anyone wants to risk the journey; 28th Oct regular Iron man event; 25th Nov regular Iron man event; 9th Dec Sun 100, one team booked, anyone else ready to commit, contact the captain, or Pfi direct; 23rd Dec, fun Iron man, cool way to begin xmas!! The captain is booked, if you want a space, book early!
Had my karting fix last week in a couple of iron man 40`s, no bruises, definitely some new recruits, and despite poor lap times, very enjoyable. Rumours abound at PPIK about the imminent arrival of new petrol karts, only 200cc, but geared correctly, we should see some sub-40 sec laps again, Yea Baby!! I will of course, keep you all informed how the test session goes...................................
