Dodgy dealing again!!!

I woke this morning to find out that yet again there has been under the table dodgy dealings in f1 however this time it "ironically" is the person who has been discouraging them. Our old friend Bernie.
The pattern seems to be emerging that while a German, a Finn and a Spaniard were winning world titles its fine for ITV to have the viewing rights, how ever once an Englishman becomes successful BBC suddenly get the rights back.
It seems for some unknown reason Bernie and the BBC have come to a deal to see formula one back on a channel so closely linked to the government and all things English. (For example prime ministers question time at the heart of the government while also having very strong links with the royal family) It seems to me that due to the immediate success of a certain Lewis Hamilton the f1 Dictator and the BBC have come to the decision that for the greater good of the publics' viewing. However will this be the best option?

The ITV f1 website is one of the best around offering features such as photos, key interviews and now highlights. With the BBC according to Bernie having an equally sports website its motor sport sections is something to be desired. We can see that channel 4 do not have the Italian football rights but do have one of the best football websites around for it. Even though at the moment the BBC do not have the rights do they have such a service. NO. Does this show a keen interest in formula1 NO is the answer again. As a keen sports fan personally I prefer coverage of ITV even though there are adverts the viewing seems to provide a more wholesome and fan friendly experience. Just because Lewis Hamilton has had such a successful start to his career should the viewer loose out! Again I think the answer is NO. However I must say that this is the opinion of a keen sports fan and there may be others who disagree but I do not think you can argue with the words of a legend. Murray Walker.

The legend that is Murray Walker said earlier today "I'm absolutely flabbergasted - I was lying in bed listening to the news this morning and I almost fell out of bed when I heard it. It's an amazing development because I think ITV did and do a superb job, and I think there is more to this than meets the eye." This coming from a man who is a legend from the commentating world and who had commentated for both the BBC and subsequently for ITV after the change in 96.

All I can say is that with the loss of the f1 television rights I hope ITV continue their service of such a good website and do not become like the BBC and drop all interest.
